Calea zacatechichi is a flowering shrub from the the Asteraceae family, with oval leaves and cymose, yellow flowers. Native to Central America, it's particularly prevalent in Mexico, where it has been used by local tribes in holistic and religious practices.

Dream herb comes in 20g packets, and can be ingested in various ways. Users can prepare a dream herb tea, encapsulate powdered leaves, or prepare a tincture. When it comes to dosing the product, it's recommended to start with small amounts of 1–3g before increasing the dose depending on the body's reaction and the desired outcome.
Tea is the most straightforward method of consumption; all you need is hot water in which you can steep the dried leaves for about 15 minutes. As it tastes quite bitter, a spoon of honey can go a long way. Enjoy a cup before going to bed.
Alternatively, you can encapsulate powdered leaves and consume a capsule after 3–4 hours of sleep (you'll need to set an alarm), without interrupting the sleep cycle. The same timing applies to taking tinctures.

Bitter tea
I usually have complex, vivid dreams, and remember it, but never have lucid dreams. Taking this infusion worked on the contrary: no one of the sleep sessions with Calea gives me a dream, only deep sleep.
The herb is bitter but has a strong aroma, it reminds me the wet woods with tones of eucalyptus. With honey it makes an interesting tea to sip quietly, like a good liquor. I still take it for the flavour, but zero psychoactivity anyway.
