Sweet tropical flavour and a bright, any-time-of-day high: that is what makes Pineapple Express seeds one of the most loved sativa-dominant hybrids around. Built on Trainwreck and Hawaiian genetics, it is stocked here as feminized photoperiod and fast autoflower versions from four breeders, shipped fresh and discreetly to the UK.
Pineapple Express Auto is an autoflowering, feminized cousin of the Pineapple Chunk - the original cross of Pineapple with Skunk #1 and Cheese cannabis strains. A very compact plant, reaching just 110 cm and ready for harvest in 8 to 10 weeks. A powerful stress reliever, suitable for medical as well as recreational uses.
Pineapple Express is a hybrid strain that exudes delicious aromas and induces unique highs. If one wishes to experience a solid strain that has a movie named after it, Pineapple Express is the only strain of choice. Fast and solid yields can be expected from this one.
Want to add a true legend to your garden? Look no further: Pineapple Express by Barney's Farm packs the aromas, flavours, and stellar effects of this iconic cannabis strain into a simple feminized seed, ready to be sown indoors, outdoors, or in a greenhouse.
Boasting rich, sweet flavours and uplifting effects, Pineapple Express F1 Autoflower is a rewarding autoflower that delivers a massive haul of buds in 9 weeks or less from germination. And topping out at a manageable height of just 50–70cm, this strain is well-suited to indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse spaces. Experience this fierce F1 specimen for yourself!
Pineapple Express Auto is an extreme case of an autoflowering variety! Blending the genetics of Skunk, Hawaii, TrainWreck and Ruderalis gave birth to a cannabis strain with an extreme growth, very good yields after a short flowering time and a highly potent and pleasant-tasting end product. Truly an exceptional cannabis strain - and full of power.

These weed seeds get bought on the name alone, then people discover the five cuts behave very differently. Two minutes here saves a mismatched grow.
A hybrid made famous by Trainwreck x Hawaiian genetics (and yes, the 2008 stoner film), sold here in five takes: our own Pineapple Express F1 Autoflower, two from Barney's Farm, one from FastBuds and one from G13 Labs. All five are feminized, so no male-plant lottery.
Myrcene and pinene lead, and it shows: ripe pineapple, pine resin and a citrus edge that survives the cure. Grind a nug and the room smells like a fruit stall next to a Christmas tree.
The classic Pineapple Express buzz is uplifting and sociable, strongest in Barney's photoperiod cut at 25% THC and 60% sativa. THC across the category runs 15-25%, and the two indica-leaning cuts (G13 Labs, FastBuds) finish calmer than the name suggests. Wedding Cake fans looking for something brighter tend to land here.
Photoperiod cuts flower in 8-10 weeks. Autos take 8-11 weeks from seed, with the F1 Auto quickest at 8-9 weeks and a tidy 70 cm tall.
Indoors expect 500-700 g/m² depending on the cut. Outdoors the photoperiods are the monsters: Barney's can pass a kilo per plant and G13 Labs manages up to 950 g, but both want real vertical space. The autos stay polite at 110 cm or under.
Short British summers argue for autos: they finish on their own clock and dodge the autumn damp. Our autoflowering cannabis seeds page explains the trade-off in full, but the short version is autos for speed and stealth, photoperiods for weight. One honest caveat: Barney's Pineapple Express Auto sits at just 15% THC, lovely flavour, gentle hit, so strength-chasers should look at the F1 or the photoperiod instead.
The famous version is sativa-dominant: Barney's Farm's runs 60% sativa. But the G13 Labs (70% indica) and FastBuds (60% indica) cuts flip that, so check each product's genetics line.
Autoflower versions need 8-11 weeks total from germination, which fits a British summer nicely. Photoperiods flower for 8-10 weeks once light drops, so indoors is the safer route.
Indoors, 500-700 g/m² depending on the cut. Outdoors, Barney's photoperiod can exceed 1 kg per plant given space and sun.
The strain took its name from the 2008 film, and the flavour earned the right to keep it: genuine pineapple sweetness from its Hawaiian parentage.
