Kola nut (Cola nitida) is the old-school one. Caffeine was first identified in the nut in 1865, theobromine later, and the dried red and white seeds are properly bitter if you chew one straight, which is why most people grate or brew them instead. Guarana (Paullinia cupana) turns up twice, once as the plain botanical and once inside Natural Party Capsules, where the label lists it at 16% natural caffeine. The Caffeine-Free Half, From Maca to Nano Kanna

Maca, ginkgo biloba, Rhodiola and Ginseng, Calamus (Acorus calamus) and Acetyl-L-Carnitine all sit here with no caffeine in them. Mindscopic Clear Focus makes the split obvious, since it comes in a caffeinated version and a caffeine-free one. The kanna pair is the precision end of the shelf: Nano Kanna is a full-spectrum extract standardised to a minimum 2.5% total alkaloids, with mesembrine at 60% of that, while Nano Kanna Extreme is the concentrated one at a minimum 5% total alkaloids and 95% mesembrine. Both come from Sceletium tortuosum and both carry a Certificate of Analysis per batch. Watch out for one thing: servings for those powders are counted in single milligrams and a 1 mg scale is not in the box.
