Most people arrive here with a goal rather than a plant in mind, so that is the order we will work in. Below is what suits what, then how the formats differ.
Plants with a long traditional record, plus a few nutrient formulas. They are food supplements rather than medicines, they need no prescription, and nothing here claims to treat anything. What they do have is centuries of use and, in the case of the mineral blends, some genuinely well-defined nutrition behind them.
| Goal | Where to look | Format |
|---|---|---|
| A steady daily botanical | Maca or ashwagandha | Powder or capsules |
| A traditional tea | Damiana or catuaba | Shredded, 80g |
| Something concentrated | Muira puama 25x, damiana 10x | Extract, 1-5g |
| A nutrient formula | Potency Pills, Libido Support | Capsules |
| A one-off | Sex-E, Blue Pleasure, Boner Booster | 4-capsule pack |
Most of this range is not gender-specific. Maca, ashwagandha and muira puama are taken by anyone, and the loose herbs are the same product whoever buys them. Ashwagandha in particular doubles as a staple of our relaxation range. Two exceptions are worth knowing: Red Kwao Krua (Butea superba) is traditionally used by men, and Menopause Relief from Dawn Nutrition is made for women. The zinc in Potency Pills has an authorised role in normal fertility and reproduction that applies to both.
Work down from format. A daily botanical means powder or capsules and a few weeks of consistency. A traditional preparation means loose leaf and a strainer, and damiana in particular is bitter enough that most people blend it. A concentrate means an extract, where 5g of damiana 10x replaces a far bigger bag of leaf. And a one-off means one of the four-capsule packs, which are exactly that: four capsules to a box, not a routine you keep up. If you want one product instead of five, Libido Support bundles five botanicals with 15mg of zinc into a 30-day pot.
Plain outer packaging, no product names or imagery, and a neutral sender. Loose herbs are packed in batches as orders come in rather than sitting in stock, so aroma and colour hold up. If you take prescription medication, check with your GP before starting anything in this category.
No. Everything in this category is a food supplement or a botanical sold freely. None of it is a medicine and none of it is prescription-only.
It is the concentration ratio of the extract. Muira puama 25x has been reduced down substantially, so a very small amount stands in for a much larger quantity of raw plant. That is why extracts are sold in grams while the shredded herb comes in 50g or 80g bags.
Boner Booster contains caffeine and kola nut is naturally caffeinated. Sex-E is listed as caffeine-free. If you are avoiding stimulants in the evening, check the caffeine field on the product page.
Libido Support already combines five botanicals with zinc, so it is not designed to be stacked with more of the same. Avoid doubling up on the same plant from two products, and read each label for its own daily amount.
