Granddaddy Purple: the classic purple indica

Ken Estes bred it in Mendocino County, California, and it has been the yardstick for purple weed ever since. Every pack on this page is indica-dominant, 70/30 or 75/25. The colour is not decoration you pay extra for either, it is anthocyanin pigment the plant produces when night temperatures fall late in bloom. Autoflower

The Royal Queen autoflower is the fastest thing here, 8-9 weeks from seed to jar, 450 g/m2 indoors. Our own Zamnesia Seeds auto takes 9-10 weeks and reaches 500 g/m2. Neither needs a light-schedule change, and both stay near 120cm.

Feminized photoperiod

Nine to ten weeks of flower, and you decide the plant size before flipping. The Zamnesia Seeds pack is the compact one at 90cm indoors; Royal Queen stretches to 150cm outdoors and can hand you 600g a plant. GDP also takes cold better than most, which suits a British autumn better than it suits most seed catalogues.
