A California indica that most people buy for the colour and keep buying for the effect. What follows is what the packs actually differ on.
Ken Estes bred it in Mendocino County, California, and it has been the yardstick for purple weed ever since. Every pack on this page is indica-dominant, 70/30 or 75/25. The colour is not decoration you pay extra for either, it is anthocyanin pigment the plant produces when night temperatures fall late in bloom. A warm, stable tent gives you green buds that smell and hit exactly the same.
Sweet grape first, then berry, with earth behind it. Royal Queen Seeds list pine and herbal on the photoperiod pack and candy on the auto. Effects across our packs read relaxing, body-buzz, soothing and sleepy, and myrcene with caryophyllene is the terpene pairing usually credited for it. The honest catch: this is an evening plant that will end your productive day, so if you want something functional, our Kush seeds cover the body feel with more range up top.
The Royal Queen autoflower is the fastest thing here, 8-9 weeks from seed to jar, 450 g/m2 indoors. Our own Zamnesia Seeds auto takes 9-10 weeks and reaches 500 g/m2. Neither needs a light-schedule change, and both stay near 120cm.
Nine to ten weeks of flower, and you decide the plant size before flipping. The Zamnesia Seeds pack is the compact one at 90cm indoors; Royal Queen stretches to 150cm outdoors and can hand you 600g a plant. GDP also takes cold better than most, which suits a British autumn better than it suits most seed catalogues.
Choosing is simple enough. Strongest on paper is Blimburn Seeds at 25%, though they publish neither flowering time nor yield, so you are taking the breeder at their word. Easiest first grow is the Royal Queen auto. Most proven is our Zamnesia Seeds pack with 58 reviews. If it is the colour you are here for, the rest of the purple strains are one click away, and everything ships discreetly. The rest of our cannabis seeds sit one level up.
Eight to nine weeks from seed on the Royal Queen Seeds version, nine to ten on ours. No light-schedule change is needed either way.
Only if the nights get cold late in flower. The colour comes from anthocyanins, which the plant makes more of in cooler conditions. A warm tent grows green GDP.
Blimburn Seeds at 25%. Our Zamnesia Seeds photoperiod is 22%, Royal Queen 20%, and both autoflowers sit at 19%.
Yes. Orders go out in plain packaging with nothing on the outside naming the contents, and stock is rotated so seeds arrive fresh.
