Humboldt Seed Company started in Humboldt County, California, the stretch of coast that made its name on outdoor cannabis, and they now work in Europe too. Their method is the big phenotype hunt: grow out huge numbers of plants, keep the one or two that stand out, then stabilise that plant over several generations before it gets a name. Blueberry Muffin came out of that process, from Purple Panty Dropper crossed with Razzleberry, and it took best indica at the 2019 Highlife Cup plus two Emerald Cups.
