Thyme (Thymus vulgaris): a herb that announces itself by scent
Thyme is one of those herbs you know before you even open the bag. The warm, savoury aroma is immediate and distinctive, a quality that dried thyme holds onto far better than most herbs. Thymus vulgaris belongs to the Lamiaceae family (the mint family) and is native to southern Europe, ranging from Spain to Italy. It has been cultivated more broadly across Eastern and Southern Europe, Northern Africa, and the United States, and carries a long history of traditional use across cultures. The shredded form makes it more immediately useful than whole dried sprigs: easier to measure, quicker to integrate into both liquid and solid preparations.
How to use dried thyme
In the kitchen, thyme works best when added early in the cooking process, stews, roasted dishes, and Mediterranean-style cooking are natural fits. The flavour is warm and savoury, and the shredded leaves hold their character well through long cooking times. For a herbal infusion, add the shredded leaves to hot water and brew to your preferred strength. Thyme also works in homemade cosmetic and wellness preparations such as soaps and balms, where the aroma carries through well. If you're used to whole dried sprigs, the shredded format is a practical step up, no picking leaves off stems before use.

It's thyme
I read that this could somehow enhance the effects of weed. Well at least it can alter the taste. I need to experiment more and with different ratios. Always a great time for great thyme!
Ottimo prodotto
Ottimo sapore
Nice smell and good product
Great for cooking and has a very pleasing smell and taste!
Great herbs
Great quality
Benissimo
