On one side, the old Amsterdam guard: Northern Lights reaches 100-120 cm, yields around 125 g and wraps up in a 45-55 day flower, with buds almost buried in resin glands by the end. Your First Grow Should Probably Start Here

First time in a tent, go for forgiving. Super Skunk Autoflower flips to bloom on its own once it hits the sixth leaf set, then takes about 50 days to fill out with fat, dense buds and a heavy, long stone. White Widow Autoflower runs 55-65 days from seed, stays compact enough for a stealth grow, and needs roughly three to four weeks of veg before it flips. Northern Lights is the photoperiod pick if you fancy pressing some hash afterwards.

Autoflower or Photoperiod, and the Bit to Watch

Most White Label classics come in both versions, so Master Kush, Skunk 1, Purple Bud, Pure Power Plant and Northern Lights all have an autoflowering twin. Here's the honest bit: most of these listings don't print a THC figure, so you're buying on reputation rather than a number. The photoperiod White Widow does state 20% and finishes in nine to ten weeks, and if you want a pure indica with a published figure, Northern Lights MOC from Ministry of Cannabis lists 16%. Watch the stretch too. Gelato 420 can triple its height in early bloom, and Banana Kush doubles in size and eats nutrients, so flip her at about half your final target height.

Two picks we get asked about constantly. Wedding Cheesecake for the creamy, dessert-thick smoke and a body-heavy indica finish, best under decent lights indoors where she stays compact. Vlad the Inhaler if you want the loud one: lime green sativa spears with purple flashes, a bloom-room stink of citrus, pineapple and mango, then 460-650 g/m² after 8-9 weeks indoors. Grow her outdoors in a warm spot and she'll push towards 300 cm by October.
