A bell-shaped base with a showerhead percolator built in
Hemper's Bell Bong keeps things simple: a glass bell-shaped base holding an inverted showerhead percolator. As smoke pulls down through the stem, the percolator's multiple slits break it up into smaller bubbles, spreading it out across the water rather than letting it push through in one column. Standing 18 cm tall with an 8 cm base and 3 mm glass walls, it's built for a quick personal session, not a mantelpiece display. Give the percolator a rinse with warm water and a pipe cleaner now and then. Those narrow slits are exactly the spot where residue likes to build up, and a clogged percolator defeats the point of having one.
