Salvia Divinorum Cutting: Grow Your Own Seer's Sage
Originating in the rainforests of South America, Salvia divinorum is a powerful psychoactive plant that can induce trips akin to DMT. And, it’s legal in most countries. Therefore, you can grow your own at home. Here at Zamnesia, we offer Salvia divinorum cuttings so you can begin propagating your own right away.
About Salvia Divinorum
The active ingredient in Salvia divinorum is salvinorin A. It is this compound that causes the powerful psychedelic experience. There are two main ways to ingest salvia, each yielding different effects.
Some people chew the fresh or dried leaves, allowing the compounds to absorb through the mouth's mucous membrane. This method delivers milder effects rather than a full-blown trip. Smoking it, however, can induce a full-on breakthrough experience in which the user may temporarily detach from reality.
While this experience is incredible, it’s worth preparing for it—salvia may be legal, but it’s also one of the most potent (and occasionally disorienting) psychedelics out there.
Getting Started With Your Salvia Cutting
Once your cutting arrives in its sealed tube, follow these initial steps to get it ready for planting:
- Open & Unpack Carefully
Work on a clean surface and gently open the tube. To release the cutting, gently shake it out by tapping the tube—not violently or forcefully—against your palm or a soft surface. Avoid applying too much pressure, as this could break the glass. Remove the cutting, including the roots and any gel. - Rinse Off the Gel
Rinse the entire plant with clean, room-temperature water to remove any nutrient gel or agar. This prevents rot and helps the plant adapt to soil. - Trim Excess Leaves
Cut away any lower leaves that may sit below the soil line. Keep only the upper leaves to reduce stress and moisture loss.

Salvia
I purchased the Salvia divinorum cutting about a month ago and planted it as soon as it arrived. I wasn't sure it would take root because I had slightly damaged one of the roots while removing the agar. A month later, I can say that everything went well: the plant seems to have established itself successfully and has already produced several new leaves. I'm definitely satisfied with this purchase!

Trop belle
Too expensive
Received a tiny cutting that soon after died.
It's disappointing to see it being sold for such a high price.
Don't waste money and time for this one!
There are shops where you can buy 5 mid sized fully developed plants for the same price.
Belle plante
Very good
Grows well, I'm very happy to own this plant, more than 5 years of waiting, and finally dream come true, thanks!
Doing Great
I’ve planted the “Talea” 3 weeks ago and it already developed new small leaves. Hope it grows big and healthy.
