Picking an Elite Seeds strain

Five packs, all feminized, all photoperiod. That is a small range, so rather than a brand essay here is the short version of which one suits which grow.

What Elite Seeds is known for

The company was set up in 2007 by Valencia graduates in plant genetics and biotechnology, and it keeps a laboratory in the Science Park of the University of Valencia. They run HPLC analysis on their varieties, and they are among the very few breeders working on rare cannabinoids such as THCV and CBDV. Those lines are not in our range, so treat that as background on the breeder rather than a shopping list.

Which one to pick

  • Strongest: La Rica Classic THC at 21% THC, and still rated Easy.
  • Fastest: Mota Khan Afghana, done in 7 to 8 weeks. It is the only Moderate grow here.
  • Biggest yield: Meganuska, up to 450 gr/m2 indoors and 700 gr per plant outdoors.
  • Only sativa-leaning one: Bestial Skunk, 75% sativa, citrus-led and pest resistant.
  • Only one with CBD: Banana Joint, 5% CBD against 17% THC.

La Rica THC

The honest caveat for UK growers is that none of these are autoflowers, so all five need a light schedule you control. If that does not suit your space, the autoflowering cannabis seeds shelf is the better starting point.

Four of the five are rated Easy, so yes. The exception is Mota Khan Afghana, which the catalogue rates Moderate.

Do you sell Elite Seeds autoflowers?

No. All five packs we stock are feminized photoperiod plants, so each one needs a light change to flower.

How long do they take to flower?

Between 7 and 9 weeks. Mota Khan Afghana is quickest at 7 to 8, the other four sit at 8 to 9.
